Kforce is seeking an experienced ETL Data Architect IV for an enterprise telecommunications and mass media client in Greenwood Village, CO. This dual-role position combines hands-on data engineering with strategic leadership, focusing on critical data migration into a Snowflake environment and defining future data architecture. Responsibilities include designing SQL-based data solutions, rebuilding ETL pipelines, ensuring data reliability, and providing technical mentorship. The role also involves evolving data architecture strategy, advising on complex decisions, and supporting long-term infrastructure planning for applications, dashboards, and reporting beyond 2026.
Must Have
- Design, build, and support SQL-based data solutions.
- Lead data migration efforts into a Snowflake environment.
- Rebuild ETL pipelines and data warehouse structures.
- Ensure data reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Define and evolve data architecture strategy.
- Provide technical mentorship to data engineering teams.
- Serve as a technical advisor for data decisions.
- Translate technical concepts into business context.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in data engineering or architecture.
- 3+ years leading technical teams.
- Advanced SQL expertise (daily usage).

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts.

- Experience with Snowflake, Fabric, Redshift, or similar data platforms.
- Background with Apache-based tools, PySpark, AWS Glue, or similar.
- Experience guiding data platform migrations or modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with data visualization and analytics enablement.

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced ETL Data Architect IV in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO. Candidates must be local to Denver. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Overview: The Data Architect will play a dual-role position combining hands-on data engineering with strategic leadership. This role supports critical data migration initiatives while helping define and guide the future-state data architecture that will enable applications, dashboards, and reporting for 2026 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support SQL-based data solutions
- Lead data migration efforts into a Snowflake environment
- Rebuild ETL pipelines, data connections, and warehouse structures
- Ensure data reliability, performance, and scalability
Architect:ure & Leadership (-30%):
- Help define and evolve the organization's data architecture strategy
- Provide technical mentorship to database and data engineering team members
- Serve as a technical advisor for complex data and architecture decisions
- Interface with leadership to translate technical concepts into business context
- Support long-term planning for data infrastructure and tooling
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, database administration, or data architecture
- 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical or data engineering teams
- Advanced SQL expertise with daily, hands-on usage
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and data processing
- Strong experience with ETL frameworks and data warehousing concepts
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Snowflake, Fabric, Redshift, or similar data platforms
- Background with Apache-based tools, PySpark, AWS Glue, or similar
- Experience guiding data platform migrations or modernization initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
